i really like american books i like them more than english books!
please tell me which do you prefere english or american books??

It depends really. I like them both the same except for the cheesy american cliches

I adore both American and British Literature but because you have posed the question when I am reading Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit at the moment I would have to say British. Jeanette Winterson is a brilliant author. She manages to bring together the real and imaginary in what is called her metafiction. It deals with sexuality and growing up in a religious environment. It is a tender tale, which I adore. However, if you ask me in three weeks when I start The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath I would say that because she is a dark and somewhat introverted writer that explores quite deep themes.

Both is my conclusion!

I have changed my mind slightly because when i first posted i was still happy from coming back from florida. But a good example of an superb American book is !!!Twilight saga by stephanie meyer!!!

I do agree with the fact that twilight is a very good book but just look at the english writers, Shakespeare, Tolkien, J.K Rowling, George Orwell e.t.c who have writeen classics

Erm at moment we have been doing frankenstein in English and i think that it's too old and annoying also long winded!
